React Native Developer

Overview

Stellar Technologies is seeking a highly skilled React Native Developer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mobile app development using React Native, along with a solid understanding of backend systems, API integrations, and CI/CD pipelines. This role is critical in ensuring that our mobile applications are built to high standards of quality, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile Application Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
  • Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

• Backend and API Integration:

  • Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and other services into mobile applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API connectivity and data flow.

• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation:

  • Work closely with the DevOps team to understand and contribute to the CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
  • Implement improvements to streamline mobile application release processes.

• Collaboration & Agile Methodologies:

  • Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and other agile ceremonies.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and backend developers.

• Code Quality & Best Practices:

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Follow industry best practices and coding standards to ensure code quality and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mobile app development with a focus on React Native.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of backend systems and experience with API integration.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for mobile app development.
  • Experience with debugging tools, performance optimization, and unit testing.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android) is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Prior experience in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
