Role Overview
We are seeking an Arabic-speaking Senior .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain government digital services using ASP.NET MVC 5 on .NET Framework 4.6+. The role requires delivering secure, scalable, and compliant solutions with seamless integration across internal systems and national platforms, in strict adherence to government IT governance and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC 5 on .NET Framework 4.6+
- Develop and manage secure RESTful APIs for integration with internal and external government systems
- Ensure compliance with government security frameworks, data protection regulations, and audit requirements
- Design and optimise SQL Server databases including performance tuning, indexing, and data consistency
- Deploy and manage applications on IIS per enterprise hosting and security standards
- Monitor application performance, scalability, and availability with IT operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application, API, and database layers with proper documentation
- Participate in change management — release planning, impact analysis, and rollback strategies
- Maintain detailed technical documentation aligned with governance and audit requirements
- Support integration with national digital platforms and shared government services
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7+ years of .NET development with strong expertise in ASP.NET MVC 5 and .NET Framework 4.6+
- Proficiency in C# and solid understanding of object-oriented design principles
- Strong SQL Server experience — database design, optimisation, and stored procedures
- Hands-on IIS deployment, configuration, and performance tuning
- Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of secure application development and web security standards
- Experience in structured SDLC, governance, and compliance-driven environments
- Familiarity with Git or similar version control tools
- Arabic language proficiency — spoken and written (mandatory)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in government or regulated sector environments
- Familiarity with the UAE digital government ecosystem and integration standards
- Exposure to .NET Core / .NET 6+ for future transformation initiatives
- Frontend experience — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Knowledge of enterprise security practices and performance optimisation
